Welcome to Anna Bears Adoption Fundraising
This site is dedicated to all adoptive families. If you are in the process of adopting or are thinking about adoption but don't know how to fund your adoption, this site is for you. Adoption is expensive and there is very little help available.
If you are not adopting but would like to help other families you may purchase a single bear or two. If you would like a donation made to a nonprofit agency who provides grants for adoption, please specify the agency in your order. Otherwise a portion of the proceeds from all bears sold will be donated to "His Kids Too"

Successful Fundraising
You may either purchase a preset number of bears with your creidt card or presell the bears and then place an order.
What we did was presell 200 bears by asking family, friends, and coworkers to purchase a bear, we also asked them to ask others. Once we had 200 bears sold we ordered 600 bears. Then we contacted our local Chamber of Commerce for a list of their members and sent a letter to each member asking them to purchase a bear. We put up flyers around town with a picture of the bears and information about the adoption (be sure to include a phone number) and asked for people to help out by purchasing a bear. Next, our church helped us do a fundraiser (the church donated hot dogs and drinks), anyone who donated $20.00 got a bear. We were able to sell all 600 bears in about 8 weeks.
The fundraising process takes a little planning and work, but is well worth it. If you would like a sample of our letter to the Chamber of Commerce, a sample of the flyers, or a copy of the picture of the bears we used when preseslling, please e mail me at annabears4u@aol.com.
